About Pawsible Pups with Pete
Pierrette “Pete” Raymond is the Pete behind Pawsible Pups with Pete. She is a lifelong owner of dogs, and has had a multi-dog household for over eight years. She is a foster mom to local rescues and the pups they save, and she has a household with her four dogs that she absolutely loves. She lives with her husband of over thirty years, her two rescue cats, and she is a mom to two adult children.
Her philosophy is that every dog is an individual whose potential is unlimited. With the right loving care, training and enrichment activities, a dog can overcome most challenges they face. She believes and practices positive dog training that is force-free and fear-free, based on dog behaviour, dog enrichment activities, in a fun, safe, playful, and yes, stress-free environment.
Before immersing herself in working with dogs and their people, Pete’s background is in Psychology and Education. She has certifications in Death, Dying and Bereavement and has over 24 years of business experience as a multi-business CEO. She has completed several certification programs in dog training, dog bite prevention, and canine first aid. She is currently working with two dog training schools and completing her canine massage therapy certification. Each certification has helped Pete be a better trainer and provider of care for the pups who are entrusted into her care.
With their forty-four acre property in the country, an enriching, fun and invigorating camp experience has been created. During the COVID closures, Pete offers virtual dog training and provides plenty of fun activities on her Facebook page that you can do with your pup!
